You will be shown different styles of hearing aids, and in some situations, even listen to conversation with a hearing aid. You will be supported to select the best hearing aids based on your level of hearing loss, your lifestyle and your financial circumstances.

Once you make the decision to trial hearing aids, the Cotton Tree Audiology team will provide you with detailed instructions on how to use your devices successfully. This includes instructions on insertion, charging, and caring for your devices. It is helpful to bring along a loved one or friend to the fitting for support. What to keep in mind
Remember the not-so-secret sauce: a positive attitude. You may have many different emotions about what you hear – this may be expected. You may also have some different emotions about admitting that you may need to wear a hearing aid to hear better – this, too is expected. We will explore and manage these very naturally occurring feelings and attitudes with you.
Remember: technology is only part of the process. We hear with our brains. We will guide and support you as you adjust and start enjoying and remembering a sound-rich environment. We use interviews, validated questionnaires and state-of-the-art fitting techniques that allow us to adjust on the hearing aids while situated in your ears.
